The terms of service set forth hereunder is a legally binding Agreement between us (AjoPay Financial Technology Limited) (hereinafter “AjoMoney” “We” “Our” “Us”) and you (our customer/user – hereinafter, “User” “you”). It details AjoMoney’s obligations to you. It also highlights the benefits of using our Services and you must consider such carefully as you will be bound by the provisions of this agreement through your use of this mobile App or any of our services.
The access to and use of this Platform (Website and App) implies that the user has read and accepted our Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part hereof, do not access the Platform.
These Terms of Use shall be interpreted and governed by the laws currently in force in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Also, all disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Nigerian law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement, including any question regarding its existence, validity, contractual obligation or termination by the Parties, shall be settled through amicable informal and formal discussions between the Parties.
AjoMoney is committed to managing your Personal Information in line with global industry best practices. You can read our Privacy Policy to understand how we use your information and the steps we take to protect them.
Our Mobile App and services are not directed to persons under the age of 18. We are not responsible for knowingly transacting or providing any services to persons under this age. You are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws related to your use of our App and services.
To use AjoMoney, you have to create an account by signing up and to complete this process you would also have to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you such as your email, first name, last name, phone number, BVN, a valid means of Identification and a picture of you. These details upon verification would give you access to our platform.
It is very important for users to be verified so that they can fully enjoy AjoMoney services and products. A customer whose account identity is not yet verified will be highly restricted from the use of certain features on the app until they are fully verified.
By this, the User hereby grants AjoMoney the license to carry out a survey of the User’s banks, institutions and authorities (whether governmental or nongovernmental) with which the User has interfaced for purposes of determining the User’s credit worthiness and ascertain possible recovery mechanisms/options. Note that you give express permission to all these by filling in your details on the mobile App. You also have the right to refuse to authorize the use and/or disclosure of your Personal Information. However, if you choose to exercise this right, you may not be able to utilize some features of the Services we provide.
Because our services are directly linked to our users’ earnings and savings, we reserve the right to be informed of any change of address, update and other relevant information e.g. if the user resigns, or if the card connected is blocked. This is solely done for the purpose of protecting other users and customers.
As indicated in the preamble to this document, the terms contained herein constitute an agreement between us and you. By accessing or continuing to access, signing up, or otherwise subscribing to any of our products and services, you are deemed to be aware and to be bound by our terms and conditions. We consequently advise that you calmly and carefully read through the agreement.
If you elect to be a user and you sign up for any of our services, you will be deemed to have read and understood the agreement, have knowledge and have been elected to be bound by the terms.
In order to gain access to most of our services, products and other features available on our platform, a user may be required to sign up, create an account and become a member of the AjoMoney Community.
